Why we can not live more than 120 years old?

porque no podemos pasar los 120 anios de edad

Humans cannot currently live beyond the age of 120 due to biological and physiological limitations. There are several theories and factors that contribute to why human lifespan is limited:

Cellular Aging: Over time, cells experience damage and wear and tear, leading to a decline in function and eventually death.

Telomere Shortening: Telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of chromosomes, shorten as we age and eventually stop cells from dividing, leading to cellular aging and death.

Accumulation of Genetic Mutations: Over time, mutations in our DNA accumulate, leading to a decline in cellular function and increased risk of age-related diseases.

Free Radical Damage: Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cells and contribute to aging and age-related diseases.

Inflammation: Chronic inflammation can damage cells and contribute to aging and age-related diseases.

Hormonal Changes: Hormonal changes as we age can contribute to a decline in function and increased risk of age-related diseases.

Environmental Factors: Exposure to environmental toxins, poor diet, lack of physical activity, and other lifestyle factors can accelerate the aging process and increase the risk of age-related diseases.

While scientists are making progress in understanding the aging process and developing interventions to extend lifespan, it remains a complex and multi-faceted phenomenon, and the maximum lifespan for humans remains around 120 years

The most well-known gods in Indian mythology are those of the Hindu pantheon, which include Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer. These gods are often depicted with multiple arms and heads, and are associated with specific attributes and powers.

One of the most important texts in Indian mythology is the Vedas, a collection of ancient sacred texts that contain hymns, prayers, and rituals. The Puranas and the Mahabharata and Ramayana are also important texts. The stories in these texts are often symbolic, and contain moral and spiritual teachings.

Indian mythology also includes a number of powerful goddesses, such as Durga, Kali, and Lakshmi. They are often depicted as fierce and powerful, and are believed to have the ability to protect and provide blessings.

Many Indian myths also include tales of powerful and wise sages and demigods, who are often depicted as having superhuman powers and abilities. These myths also often include stories of battles between good and evil, and the triumph of virtue over vice.

Celtic mitology

Celtic mythology is a rich and complex belief system that was practiced by the ancient Celtic people who lived in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and parts of France. The Celts believed in a pantheon of gods and goddesses, each with their own unique attributes and powers. These deities were associated with natural elements such as rivers, trees, and the sun, and played a role in shaping the lives of the Celtic people.

One of the most prominent gods in Celtic mythology was Lugh, the god of light and the arts. He was seen as a wise and powerful leader, and was celebrated in the annual festival of Lughnasadh.

Another important figure in Celtic mythology was the goddess Brigid, who was associated with healing, poetry, and the hearth. She was widely revered by the Celts and was said to bring fertility and renewal to the land.

The Celts also believed in the existence of the Otherworld, a parallel realm inhabited by supernatural beings and the spirits of the dead. They believed that the veil between this world and the Otherworld was thin, and that one could travel back and forth with the help of magic.

The Celts also practiced divination, using tools such as the Ogham alphabet and the Druidic "Celtic Cross." These methods were used to gain insight into the future and to make decisions.

In conclusion, Celtic mythology is a fascinating and complex belief system that was an integral part of the culture and daily life of the ancient Celts. Despite being mostly oral in nature, many tales and legends from Celtic mythology have been passed down through the generations and continue to influence our understanding of this rich cultural heritage.
